Microfiltration Recycle up to 85%
|
Where it is impossible to separate individual cycles in an industrial process it is necessary to use a different technology and filter the whole wastewater stream. Membrane technology has been available for many years and is used extensively in fresh water filtration but the membranes are susceptible to damage and are very expensive to replace.

Kemco have developed a special ceramic, almost indestructible, filtration media to use in place of a membrane. Being ceramic it is chemical resistant and
temperature stable with a life time expectancy of 5-6 years. Using this technology it is possible to filter the effluent to a degree of quality, enabling up to 85% of this water to be recycled.
