Heat Recovery System
Most industrial processes involve the addition of heat, normally through steam to water. Temperatures generated by this process may be as high as 85 - 90°c. After the water is utilised it is normally dumped down the drain to sewer. The cost of generating this energy is substantial and can represent 50% of the total energy bill of the processing plant.
By installation of a simple, tube and shell, unblockable, heat recovery system this energy can be recovered and used to preheat the water going to the process.
Typical costs are €30K to €80K with payback from 6 months to 1 year.
