KEMCO provides the perfect solution for water reuse in today's commercial laundries. Instead of dumping reuseable water, it is now possible to reduce water consumption up to 50% with Kemco's Air backwashing Filtration System.



Reuseable water flows through the unit, capturing contaminants on the outside of the filter elements. Differential pressure across the filter is monitored and at preset levels, the individual filters are each isolated and purged with air, forcing contaminants out a separate drain path. All controls are solid state, computer (PLC) controlled for maximum reliability. Only one filter unit at a time is backflushed and cleaned without interruption of process.



Because air is used for backwashing, the waste fluid is minimized. Standard filter bag designs are employed and can be cycled hundreds, if not thousands of times before a replacement is required, thus reducing filter element replacement and disposal costs.
